Description: This is an early 60s J.Puchner Bassoon, serial #5550 I found from an estate sale. It had not been played in probably over 40 years and was in serious need of an overhaul. I had all new pads, corks, felts, and adjustments done by an expert repairmen, along with a polishing of the keys, and treatment to the wood. Included with the instrument are two crooks, a Heckel CD2 that was repaired a couple years ago, and works very nicely on this instrument, and a Fox C 1, also a good fit. The instrument has a big sound and very good scale. The high notes are solid without the high D key.
