Pyro...THE GOOD STUFF! From Doug Busch's own Stash!! 2oz Can PMK/ABC...Lovely!

Description: Its a rare treat to be offered the chance to buy the same chemicals that a well known printer/photographer uses...almost unheard of! But you have the chance to get your hands(gloved of course) on some pyrogallic acid or more commonly known as pyro. This is the really good stuff! the Eastern Chemical Co brand, not the tan/brown clumps of semi-useless stuff...this is the light and fluffy beauty. If you've ever seen Dougs prints you know that he's no slouch in the darkroom, he has used the ABC formula for years, I've never actually used that one but instead have been using PMK for decades now. Back in the day I switched from developer to developer and never actually settled on any...till I read Gordon Hutchings book(The book of Pyro) and that was it. I particularly like backlit scenes so shadow detail and crisp edge light highlights provide quite a difficult task for any developer...PMK captures it all with ease...I was hooked and have never tested another film developer. Pyro is one of photography's oldest and best developers and remains undisputed in its qualities. If you do a search you'll find a number of great formulae available. I've included a pic of Dougs amid print formula and of course the classic ABC pyro as used by Eddy Weston. This lot is for a 2oz starter pack so you don't have to invest a ton of cash to see what it can do, larger quantities are available, just drop me an E.
