Beautiful Large Vintage CATRON Chilean Huasos/Cowboy Spurs /w Presentation Box These stunningly large spurs were hand crafted by famous Chilean maker CATRON around the 1980s and feature massive rowels (look at the Quarter in the pictures for size comparison!). These spurs were - and still are - popular with Chilean skilled horsemen (similar to American Cowboys) known as "Huasos". The spurs are recognized by the "singing" sound they make as they spin, due to their high number of spokes. Includes the original display box. Very good pre-owned condition with minor tarnish and minor surface scratches according to age. Marked "CHILE" and measuring 9" long x 4 3/4" in diameter (rowel) x 3 3/4" (heel band opening).
