Description: Quilt Kit - Twinkle - 56" X 64" Sunrise Blossoms Batik Throw Quilt These one-of-a-kind Artisan Batiks are produced on the island of Java in Indonesia by skilled dye masters. Each yard of these sumptuous fabrics is unique. The fabric is hand-stamped and then hand-painted multiple times, with many different pairs of hands working on every yard. Most of the work is done outside, so the weather greatly influences the results. Due to this specialized hand-process, there is a consistency to color and pattern, while maintaining subtle color variations that are so important to this traditional technique.100% combed cotton batik fabric hand made in Indonesia. Machine wash cold, no bleach, wash dark colors separately, tumble dry low, remove promptly.The overall finished size of this throw quilt as shown in picture 1 is 56" x 64". NOTE: The background batik color is called Platinum; however, it definitely leads toward blue.The kit contains a FREE copy of the Twinkle pattern and instructions designed by Elise Lea for Robert Kaufman Fabrics along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately.Fabrics in this kit are from the Sunrise Blossoms and Prisma Dyes Batik collections by Robert Kaufman Fabrics.
