Next, remove the Floss Tip (stored inside the Water Tank) and snap it into place. Open the reservoir hatch, fill with lukewarm water, then close the lid. Please be sure to keep the lid of your Water Flosser snapped shut when in use to prevent less mess. Tip: Make sure to use only lukewarm water to avoid temperature shock to your teeth! To find your flow (and avoid making a mess!) close your lips slightly around the floss tip and lean over your sink.
