Description: Rahn Granite 24" Planekator for Calibrating Plane Surfaces Calibrated 2002. Not a whole lot to say about this, it appears to be in excellent shape from what I can tell - check the pictures to form your own opinion. Includes an old calibration for giggles, but goes to show that this is at least 60 years old. This was purchased from a long-standing Machine Tool Rebuilding shop. This was a renown local place and had a HUGE amount of high quality precision tools, reference surfaces, test bars etc.. Check my other listings for some very interesting and obscure straight edges and test arbors. As far as pricing goes, that information seems to be very obscure for high-end equipment like this. I searched out some high-quality manufacturers of similar equipment and have priced my items at 40-50% of those amounts.
