Description: This beautiful platter is unmarked, so I don't know the maker. The design is printed and sealed on the backnso hand washing is necessary. There is a small area near the lip of the fish with a bit of loss of the image. It is only visible from the front at some angles, but not all. It is not very easy to scratch off the color. It will last a long time if hand washed without using any hard scrub brush. The usable platter area is 5 inches by 17 inches The back of the platter has a "silvering" to it like a real fish would have. It is 8 inches at its tallest and 20 inches at its longest. This is a large platter, and I believe in packaging all breakables carefully. I will ship this by using bubble wrap and packing paper. I place that in a sturdy box and again pack with an additional box and packing paper around to cushion it during its precarious journey.
