The golds and silvers in all of my decals are true metalic golds and not the brown colored poor excuse for gold that seems to be the standard nowadays. Colors are printed with a white primer and in most of my decals there is a small clear border around the edge, the way old decals used to be. I use modern technology to emulate as precisely as I can the old style of graphics and production methods that were in use when our steel bikes were new. The materials I use are totally compatible with modern clear coats (unlike old fashioned water slide transfers which in most cases react badly) and are easy to use, fine but durable and user friendly.
