The closure is velcro. I'm not sure if the original owner removed the buttons and placed velcro there? There are a few that are coming unstuck. A bit of the seams are also coming lose where the insert goes. No ties on the inside of the duvet to hold insert. Set includes 2 matching king pillow shams. No holes or major flaws are noted.
