Description: *RARE* 1846 ISOLA GATE BARRACKS (MALTA) LIBRARY BOOK "AGRICULTURE" BOOK (P2)Great *RARE* antique small fine binding hardback book from 1846 on industry of the Rhine and agriculture. Photo 4 shows a library label and photo 5 shows that this belonged to the Isola Gate Barracks Military Library in Malta. I cannot find too much information on Isola Gate Barracks but the date of this book is most likely that it belonged to the Royal Malta Fencible Regiment which existed between 1825 and 1861 and moved to Isola Gate Barracks in 1846 (also the publication date of this book). Photo 3 shows some wear to the back cover. Some pages have light foxing but binding and other pages inside are in great condition especially as the book is 178 years old.Book measures 14.5cm tall x 9cm wide x 2.25cm thick.
