Blakely Location: Louisville Date Stamp: March 23, 1904 This business card was part of a scrapbook full of antique rail related business cards and other ephemera that would have been kept by a rail line c. 1880s - 1930s. Many of the cards in this collection are date stamped from the date when the worker passed through the station where they were obtained. The date stamp is from the L&N R.R. Owensboro, KY location. Over the next few weeks I will be listing all the business cards from the scrapbook. These are wonderful, tangible items from a period of the past that are great for transportation and railroadiana collectors - and maybe even relatives of the various workers.
