WHEN I TOOK OUT THE TWO SCREWS ON THE BOTTOM, THE ORIGINAL BATTERY WAS STILL INSIDE AND NOT A TRACE OF LEAKAGE !!!! THE INSIDE IS IMMACULATE AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS !!!!! YOU PUSH IN THE REAR BUMPER AND LICENSE PLATE ASSEMBLY AND THAT IS THE SWITCH TO TURN THE FLASHLIGHT ON. OF COURSE I DON'T HAVE A REPLACEMENT BULB OR BATTERY TO TEST IT BUT IT IS VERY CLEAN AND I'M SURE SOMEONE CAN FIND THIS SIZE BATTERY AND BULB AND MAKE IT NEW AGAIN !!!!! I'M NOT SURE OF THE YEAR AND MAKE OF THE CAR BUT DEFINITELY AN EARLY MODEL FOR SURE. THIS IS A VINTAGE ITEM THAT WAS FOUND WITH OTHER ITEMS FROM THE 1930'S THROUGH THE 1950'S SO IT IS DEFINITELY VERY OLD. GREAT ITEM THAT WILL BE CAREFULLY WRAPPED AND SHIPPED IN A STURDY BOX FOR PROTECTION. The items that I have been listing are part of an enormous basement clean-out that me and my son have been working on over the last 8-9 years.
