Description: Up for sale is one, rare Marvel Comics Editor's response to fan postcard, from 1964. It appears that Stan Lee was working a story line making The Thing (Ben Grimm) the grandson of the Two-Gun Kid. Apparently, Paul Gambaccini found out and the idea was scrapped. Paul was an obsessive fan and regularly wrote letters to Marvel. Many of his letters were published in the comics from 1962-1964. He was so frequently acknowledged that Marvel had to put a stop to it so other fans wouldn't get upset because their comments were printed. The postcard is in Very Fine/Near Mint and a historic piece of early Marvel Comics history. Please ask all questions before bidding and good luck!
