Absolutely gorgeous and stunning! hinged slant top writing desk.There is a guy playing a flute up at the top and two figures on each side of the desk holding cobra snake shafts there being eaten by two dragons. There’s also a carved man down at the bottom of the desk. This desk comes with 10 total drawers and one secret pop out hidden drawer spring loaded. Mythological beast’s carved all around the desk back of the desk has a peacock and lion’s and bird’s. This antique Anglo Indian Davenport desk is wood with gold tones with gold paint. Condition of the desk is excellent for its age there is some age cracks some minor chipping edge wear there is some gold paint loss. The desk is solid wood and heavy. I’ve had lots of desks but nothing like this one. This would look great in anyones home or office definitely a eye catcher! It must have taken hundreds of hours to carve this desk. 100% authentic and original. Do to it’s size and weight I’m selling this desk for local pickup only I will not ship.
