This All Original Victorian Trunk has a wood body covered in black "duck" canvas protected by delicate Hardwood slats, trimmed in nicely tacked natural Pigskin, fitted with Ornate cast iron corner bumpers and drawbolts.. Brass lockplate in a nice swirl design finish..Bottom is protected with wide Hardwood slats.. Quality Materials and Craftsmanship.. Possibly made Paris France.. All this gives the trunk a look of Rugged Elegance and Durability.. Interior is lined in blue pin striped cotton muslin with tacked silk cross hatching in lid..Heavy leather strap handles..
