Please mark my site, I am currently selling a large number of Fantastic Antique Doorknockers that I purchased from a Long Time Collector's Estate Sale in the Northeast. Up for auction is a "RARE" Waverly Studio Butterfly & Roses Oval Door Knocker. This is an "AS IS" listing due to the Amazing condition of the door knocker. It is stamped with the Waverly Studio mark on back. I'm sure the Collector wanted it in his collection, since it has hardly any paint missing and the brilliance of the colors of Purple, Blue and Green. He has secured the butterfly to the knocker backplate with thin wire to avoid any scratches to the piece and I don't think it was ever used since it shows NO wear to the holes for hanging the piece. Has the original pins and works perfectly with a great sound. Other than the missing wing, it is in Excellent condition having NO cracks or breaks. Just very light chipping of original paint and colors are vibrant for its age. Door Knocker measures 3 9/16" in length and 2 3/4" in width at center point. I have NOT cleaned any of the door knockers in this collection, they are in the condition as when I purchased them. Any spots in pics are from camera flash NOT on item.
