RARE Detroit Tigers Tarik Skubal Cheer Card SGA 9/24/24 SKUB SEASON

Description: This 11 x 17 Cheer Card is from the September 24, 2024 baseball game where the Detroit Tigers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 2-1. Odds on favorite for the AL Cy Young award, Tarik Skubal, pitched his final 2024 regular season game and earned his 18th win. These cards are extremely rare as there were rainy conditions both before and during the game, and most cards were used by the enthusiastic fans and irreparably damaged. This one made it home with only a few flaws. I did my best to show them in the photos. There is a bend above the Old English D on the left side. The lines in the D itself are not flaws, they are printed that way. There is a larger crease above the bill of Skubal's hat and one above his right shoulder. On the reverse there is some discoloration on the K which could be from drips. As you can see, it is faint and blends in with the intentionally rough appearance of the K. Reading this it may sound like a lot of issues, but look at the photos and you can see that it's in great shape considering the game conditions and is quite a rare find! I want you to be happy with your purchase! Of course it will be safely shipped, protected with cardboard!
