Its' patina is a very beautiful 'dark green' color, sure evidence from the near 280 years of being buried in the soil. This one was especially well preserved! This attractive colonial era "religious" button is guaranteed 100% Authentic. Pictures may appear darker due to lighting. Its' diameter measurement is 17 MM. and Weighs 2.9 g. (Grams) and is made of good copper/brass. You can actually see the nice details without a magnifying loop. A Super nice waistcoat button that must have been very treasured in its' day.
