Dimensions Height: 23.7cm Bowl diameter: 12.3cm Foot diameter: 11.4cm.Technical Description The bell bowl has a very detailed engraved Crown with E viii R and May 12th Coronation 1937 below. A hollow ball knop includes a silver 1937 token. This towering glass is supported by a conical foot with a rough pontil. Historical Relevance Hand-blown around to commemorate the coronation of Edward VIII. Preparations were made throughout 1936 until the abdication of Edward in December of that year. The date of his coronation was instead used as the date of his successors George VI coronation.
