RARE FIND DISCONTINUED FASHION MANOR ROMANESQUE FINE CHINA SALAD PLATE JAPAN

Description: FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING THIS IS A VERY RARE FIND FASHION MANOR FINE CHINA IN THE ROMANESQUE PATTERN - MADE IN JAPAN - 7 5/8" SALAD OR DESSERT PLATE - DISCONTINUED FOR OVER 40 YEARS - CAN'T FIND ANYWHERE - NOT EVEN REPLACEMENTS LTD. HAS IT. This is a very beautiful mid-century modern design salad plate in the Romanesque Pattern from Fashion Manor in Japan. It is a lovely black design with a gold 1/2" gold pattern around the rim and a thin gold inner gilding just before the black design. This rare and hard-to-find pattern has been discontinued for over 40 years now. It measures 7 5/8" in diameter and weights just shy of 11 oz. It is in near-mint condition with the exception of some light utensil markings. I have looked everywhere on the internet as well as many of the on-line selling platforms and haven't been able to find one like this. So if you have this pattern, this is the time to either replace this specific salad/dessert place and/or just add it to your set in the event you ever need it. Please look very carefully at all pictures as it depicts the entire item with full details, and it is part of the description. Other than what I have disclosed above, it is in great shape. There are no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or discoloration. This would make a wonderful addition to anyone's collection, it is truly a beautiful piece to own, display and/or use. It appears to have been used, but it was very well taken care of, the colors are bright and unfaded, and the finish is nice and shiny. It will also make a great gift for someone special.
