Kenny played with the Hollywood Bears & the San Francisco Clippers from 1940 - 1945. In 1946, he signed with the Los Angeles Rams, breaking the modern day color barrier in the National Football League- actually before his UCLA football teammate Jackie Robinson signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers thereby breaking the color barrier in Major League Baseball in 1947… Kenny, also known as “Kingfish” and along with Jackie Robinson as the “Goal Dust Twins” while playing at UCLA…. I purchased the original photo many years ago and had it enlarged and framed under non-glare UV Plexiglass- Which is superior to glass and lighter too… The great #13 - a fine fella and historically significant athlete and man.
