Like a pocket record meant to keep track of prescriptions given, etc. He could keep in his pocket or in his leather bag. STARTS WITH SECTION ON RECORD OF NARCOTICS DISPENSED!!! Then a long, lined section for various "MEMORANDUM". Also a number of tables for easy references, e.g. Tables of Adult Dosages, diagnostic tips, apphixiation, posology, first aid, and even diagrams and descriptions of artificial respiration. Quite a variety of other printed information that a doctor would find helpful in treatment. All filled in by doctor in pencil. Dates like a diary, starting in 1924. Also has a variety of names (patients). Also lots of various calculations. Even pages where he kept track of things like eggs and butter (either for money spent on them or as shopping list reminders!!). In any event, a very cool and unusual, EARLY, IDENTIFIED doctor's medical item that actually saw use!! Great for a period collection or display. It is about 167 pages long and measures about 3 1/2" x 7". Nice stiff leather cover with DOCTOR's NAME embossed in gold. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS!!!
