Description: This is a rare piece of military currency from Japan during World War II. The “A” Yen was circulated very briefly before being replaced by the “B” Yen and were not considered legal tender in postwar Japan, but were used in Korea. Printed by Stecher-Traung in San Francisco. These are very uncommon, making it a unique addition to any collection. There is a tiny fold on the top left corner and a small oxidation stain on the bottom right. Has a low serial number.
