Marbles are very difficult to find and some consider them the holy grail of sea glass collecting . I have a pretty nice collection of them that I found over the past 30 years walking the beaches of Lake Ontario and the beaches near our summer home on Lake Erie . Years ago , no one looked for this stuff . Now with Facebook , Instagram and Tik Tok , the sea glass is getting harder and harder to find . It is not uncommon to go to the beach at any given time and see numerous people walking around looking for it .
