Description: This lot also includes a 1781 North American token in a SEGS holder meaning you will receive TWO coins struck in the 1780's! This token is toned a very dark brown. [see last 4 photographs] 1788 Massachusetts Cent period after Massachusetts with a very cool and very large lamination error on the reverse. NGC has graded this coin VF25 BN. Attractive 235-year old Massachusetts Cent with original surfaces & stunningly unique qualities; a treasure to behold. The obverse features light brown toning with great remaining detail for the grade. The reverse is toned a lovely chocolate brown and the super large lamination peel error shows proudly intersecting the date. Rare to find a 1788 cent slabbed as an error and rarer still to find one that looks as good as this does. NGC certification # 2734850-003 Ex. Heritage Auctions Sale # 131913 (3/2019). There are many photographs for you to view and also a couple eye clean screenshots of the photos Heritage Auctions used for the sale. My photography skills are lacking. FREE USPS Priority Shipping!
