Rare Mint Vintage 1976 Tissot LCD Data Recorder Calibre 4011 Original Box Works

Description: Very reluctant sell but needs must. I think this maybe my favourite piece i own. Bought at an auction a few years ago. It looks like it's never been worn. I've worn it out a few times but it's mainly been in the box. Tissot Data Recorder - Calibre 4011. Circa 1976 so a very early example of an LCD watch and it was the height of technology and would have been very expensive in its day. Very similar to some Casiotron watches of the day like the S-11. In fact i'm pretty sure it has a Casiotron movement but i don't have the tools to get the back off. You can set it so the colon at the top counts a kind of stop watch (See Instructions). The only damage worth noting is the some of the black enamel paint on the T in the clasp has come loose and there's a tiny bit of clouding under the screen below the inner gold bezel but hardly notices and i'm sure would come off if you are brave enought o take it apart. Quite a heavy and chunky watch as well. Very cool retro 70's look to it which i love. Weighs 110g. It's such a beautiful piece and surely an antique of the future. The instructions look to be photocopied but not entirely sure, may be original. Nice to have it though. Original box and blue tensioned band. Extraordinarily rare watch and even rarer in this condition with box and instructions. Never seen another in this condition. There's one that recently sold in Germany for £420 but it didn't have the box and isn't in quite as good condition. Check out the short showing the blinking time 10 second timer.
