Her version of Charades called "The Game" was a huge hit among NYC literary and celebrity circles in the first half of the 20th century. Author Edna Ferber was also an Algonquin Round Table member. She is pictured in the first photo.These original photos, not seen anywhere else, and which were NOT included in the magazine article, have historical significance for those who collect and archive photographs dealing with the Algonquin Round Table, broadcast, movies and literary celebrities.
