We have this apparel item labeled as an Extremely Rare Original Saleen offered item, because plain and simply put, it is! If you are a Saleen Fan and have been following them since the start, then you may remember when these were offered through Saleen. This Apparel item comes from the early days of what Saleen Autosport when the company first offered apparel for sale to the public. This Original Saleen Offered Sweater first was offered back at the end of the 1988 year and up until the 1990's when they ran out of the very small limited production run of them. When have you ever seen one of these offered any where other then back in the day at Saleen? We have been following Saleen and collecting original Saleen offered items since 1986, 38 years and we have never seen something like this offered on here and or anywhere, only by us! We have two other ones offered which have never been worn, NOS. This One was purchased and worn back in the late 1980's up until it was dry cleaned and then stored in a smoke free climate controlled environment! It is offered here at a reasonable starting bid, just to move it out of our inventory. Perfect to wear or display with your Foxbody Saleen Mustang!In 1988, this was something we purchased directly from Saleen Autosport. Inspired by a father that purchased a Brand New 1988 Saleen towards the end of the 88 year when Fox Body Mustangs were the Hot New Car to have and being in High School at that time when the 80's were in full swing with TV shows like Miami Vice with Don Johnson were popular, this apparel item fit the preppy look and apparel type that was in during the era!
