Put out by American Telegraph and telephone company better known as AT&T along with Western electric. The cord has been cut. However I had an electrical engineer come over with all kinds of test equipment he tested everything turned it on hooking up his own power supply and it works perfectly all the capacitors are in great shape. All the tubes work wonderfully. The speakers also work perfectly. He was able to turn it on and use a device he had to hook up to it and have it make noise. He used the transformer to slowly turn up the power to make sure the capacitors were good, he was surprised but they were in excellent working order. Whoever buys this will need to put a cord on it or connector cord to the inch of cord that is coming out of the back of the unit. But it is guaranteed to work perfectly. It also would’ve had another box with a speaker in it it would’ve been used to communicate back-and-forth. That is not present. Please read the tag on the bottom it appears that this could be used for lots of things including musical instruments. This is extremely rare and a fantastic example of art deco craftsmanship. Nobody has the curves, and is made of wood. The control button has an art deco design and it’s made of clear Lucite. The unit is 8 3/4 x 5“ and stands five and three-quarter inches tall. Even the speaker cloth covering the speaker is in excellent condition.
