Wax seal box is turned from natural, period wood from the region. This wax seal was previously removed from an original French royalty manuscript document from the 17th/18th century. Condition is fine, as pictured. Remnants of original vellum tag where cased wax seal box was removed from an original manuscript document. Diameter of seal is approximately 1.5". Diameter of seal in case is approximately 2.5". Seal illustrating Royal French Coat of Arms with crown.
