The buyer may consider a professional cleaning to remove any tarnish inside the spiral, but the tarnish won't interfere with wearing and enjoying the necklace now. There are slight surface scratches around the exterior of the pendant that are visible under magnification, but no dings, dents, tarnish or oxidation. I suspect the chain may not be original to the pendant because it looks like it could be newer, but it is appropriately marked and in excellent condition for a pre-owned chain.
