The basket has a thick Wooden Top Hinged with leather straps and ornate Fasteners to hold the straps. The lid has a wooden half heart handle and 2 heart pin cushions on each side. The top opens from each side and the inside of the basket is lined with a ruffle on the top of the outside of the basket. This basket is UNIQUE and Rare, a great addition for any collector. There is a bit of red on one area of the basket, but considering the age, the basket is in great condition.Please see pictures for details as they are considered part of the description
