Description: Cool World is a Pop-Culture Smorgasbord! We never use stock images and we hand-check all of our books! Here's a stunning little vintage/antique silverplated and ceramic egg cup made in England. The ceramic base is marked "Kingsway Ware" with a logo that appears to be an old railroad crossing sign. It has crazing and faint discoloration in spots but has no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. The silverplated egg cup needs polishing. It is stamped on the underside with the following: "EPNS Regis Plate N163 REGo" and "Made in England." We have been unable to discover the history of this piece and can only believe based upon the railroad crossing-looking logo that it might have been used for train travel service. We are only speculating, though, and have no actual idea. Whatever it is it seems to be quite rare and is without question a beautiful piece. Cool World Pop Culture works hard to deliver exceptional products in a timely, professional manner. Due to the collectable and uncommon nature of the majority of the items that we sell we cannot accept returns.
