I'm thinking that the handle and the spout is made of some type of ceramic pottery that is glued onto the egg. The top of the egg opens and you can place a special trinket or jewelry in it. On the bottom there is a winding mechanism that results in music being played. Sorry, I don't know the song. The diorama is of a little girl having a tea party with her doll and teddy bear.
