Description: These are professionally rebuilt/restored 1958-1960 German 36HP fuel pumps. This 1959-1960 German Solex 36HP fuel pump model has the internal filter screen. Each fuel pump has been fully disassembled, cleaned and inspected. Any worn part is replaced. Each body is media blasted to remove oxidation and stains. The media removes stains and oxidation leaving the finish looking NOS. All the internal and external screws and steel parts are stripped of their old zinc coating and are then bright zinc plated. All the mating surfaces are machined leveled/flattened on a milling machine for a perfect seal. The pump castings go through four separate milling machine operations to level sealing/mating surfaces. Brand new diaphragms are installed. The valve seats are checked and leveled. The diaphragm assembly is preloaded per spec during assembly. These restored/rebuilt fuel pumps look brand new and are ready for decades of further service. I provide a two year warranty on all rebuilt fuel pumps.
