Description: Exquisite vintage collectible Reichenbach East Germany porcelain plate decorated with floral designs and gold trim. Measures approx. 11” diameter. Stands 3 1/4” tall. Weighs 1 lb 12.6 oz. Has at the bottom an 'R' with a Crown and Laurel Wreath seal, also an East Germany original label and the number 24 for 24k gold. The seal is from the Reichenbach Porcelain Factory of Thuringia, Germany established in East Germany in 1949 and ended in 1990. Based on that, the plate was made between 1949 and 1977 when the company put a different mark into use (Source: Directory of European Porcelain by Danckert, page 383 and marks in the efineantiques web page). Mint condition, color and gold details are perfect. Free of chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Please see the pictures as they are the best description. Any white spots are reflections of light.
