When the M1910 canteen and cover was introduced it was one of the most advanced designs in the world, the design basically stayed the same up to and through out WW2 as the design was so good. This American M1910 canteen (the American name for a water bottle is a canteen) carrier replica was used by all US Army branch of services including the Infantry, Armoured, Medics and Airborne Paratroopers. The pouch is made of OD#3 (tan) cotton webbing with "U.S." stamped on the front. It has the standard WW2 belt fitting on the back and will hold the M1910 metal water bottle and mug (water bottle and mug not included).
