Description: Reproduction Cylinder Lamps for George Nelson Herman Miller CSS *** I am currently working on a new batch of these lamps that will be available January 2024 ** These lamps have become increasingly difficult to find, let alone finding a full set. This lead me to produce these reproductions, so that we can put the final "cherry on top" of these classic designs and enjoy them in their complete intended presentation. Each of these lamps require over 30 steps of hand fabrication to turn the exhaustively sourced materials into the final finished components. They feature a satin brushed, black anodized, 6061 aluminum cylinder. Stainless steel support bar, internal bracket and pole mounting plate secured by carefully matched fasteners. The internal assembly uses a twin bulb socket paired with vintage NOS switches, –which have the solid tactile indexing that no modern switch I could find was able to provide. They are wired with a 12 foot cord that gives sufficient length to plug to a centrally located power strip. Two warm white LED lightbulbs are included are triggered in following switch sequence; OFF > Downward bulb only > Both Downward and Valance > Valance bulb only. **If you wish to pair these lamps with silver poles, please message me before your purchase and I can leave the pole mounting plates as unpainted stainless steel with stainless screws for a seamless appearance. While these lamps have a very high level of finish, some cylinders have marks on the interior surface, left from holding clamps during the anodization process and could not be avoided, so will have to be excused.
