Description: This is a very early Winchester .45 Colt box which dates to the mid 1870's. Likely this was produced between 1875 and 1876 as the original had no side wrapper and Winchester didn't begin to seal it's boxes until the late 1870's or 1880. All of the boxes I've recreated date to the 1870's - 1880's and are what collectors now, for obvious reasons, refer to as "picture boxes." These are not photocopies or printed from pictures I've Googled. These are high resolution, digital recreations. I have included a picture of an original box for comparison.
