I am a vintage toy restorer myself, iv done one joe, I found the best card back I could with the least image ripped off and repainted what was ripped off, then got the bubble from same place you did, So is yours repainted under the bubble? did you use a new printed image just under where the the bubble sets? and is the bubble glued-looks like it, or is it double sided taped on? thank you, btw looks great! Answer:Hello, I only used cardbacks with damage just under the clamshell. I used several scans of the original cards to restore the missing sections of artwork. I'm super detailed and very particular about my work, it took on average about 1 to 3 months to fully restore the art. I spent way more than I want to admit restoring them, but I did it out of passion and to reconnect with my childhood. I even bought a special type of paper (only came in a $250.00 4' roll that's still sitting under my bed) that is exactly like the front card art paper, supper thin and has a slight sheen to it. This took a tremendous amount of time and effort. I recreated the entire 1985+ collection just so I could place them on the wall to look at as a complete set custom driver card backs included.
