Restored Unmarked Wagner? #8 Hammered Dutch Oven Lid Cover Only Cast Iron

Description: This listing is for a nice fully Restored Cast Iron cover or lid for a Dutch oven. It is the number 8 measuring about 10-1/2" in diameter outside of lip to outside of lip. The inside measurement inside of lip to inside of lip is 9-1/2". This unit is unmarked as to manufacturer but has many of the characteristics of Wagner but you might know better than I. It is the hammered version. There are no cracks, repairs or damage of any kind. This cover has been cleaned with the lye process, removing all organic waste including soot, baked on food, carbon and any other contaminate. It is then washed in a hot soapy bath. After this process, it is determined if there was any rust under the carbon and there was not. It is in similar condition as it was when sold new. The cover has been lightly seasoned and will need continued seasoning if you intend to use it and why would you not.
