Description: Vintage handmade duvet cover with 2 matching pillowcases. Crafted from 1974 Fieldcrest American Treasure Smithsonian Sheet set. “ Federal Bouquet” pattern. This print was honoring the original First Lady, Martha Washington. ivory base color with rows of floral bouquets in stripes. This cover is trimmed with a bright red Rick rack. Zip enclosure. Measuring 95”x 83”. Depending how you lay it, it will work on a Full, Queen, or King size bed. Laid sideways with the stripes running horizontally, there is an 18” drop on a Queen size bed. Easy care 50% Cotton, 50% Polyester. Made in the USA. Excellent condition with no noticeable rips, wear, or fading. There are a couple very small faint stains on the duvet that are camouflaged in the pattern. See the last photo. The zip enclosure for the duvet is 2 feet in length, so stuffing the duvet inside is not as easy as contemporary duvet covers. It also lays beautifully as a bedspread without a comforter insert.
