This set includes a rare set of Bakelite tortoise shell bird claw tongs. They measure 7 inches long. Has a metal carrying handle. I would make an educated guess that the tongs are from the 1940s when Bakelite ended their production. The ice bucket is from the same period. The condition of the ice bucket is consistent with age and good times! Meaning that the inner plastic bucket has some scratches around the rim and the lid has some wear. The lid fits snug onto the plastic bucket. This ice bucket has a back-stamp “made in Italy”.
