Size: 16 x 20 in Richard Hood was a WPA artist primarily known for printmaking. Hood was also involved in the Federal Art Project, the Philadelphia College of Art, and the American Color Print Society. From 1951-1982, Hood was a professor at the Philadelphia College of Art. From 1956-1983, Hood was the President of the Color Print Society. Richard Hood is held in many major institutions and museums nationwide including: MOMA, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Smithsonian institute, Metropolitan Museum of Art, etc.
