Offered for sale is a copy of Richard Neutra's classic study, On Building--in its first edition, the first printing, of May 1951. This copy was withdrawn from a university library and retains the usual stamps, stickers, and paste-downs. It was rebound by the library--the red boards are somewhat worn and dirtied, and the (unsticky) traces of a classification label appear on the spine. The book is in fair condition--it opens flat at several places; there is light annotation throughout; some of the leaves are dog-eared; others have been reenforced; a few have been discolored by archival tape (applied, presumably, before the rebinding). Many of the leaves were dirtied by the ink on the facing pages--such dirtying is the chief defect of this copy. This is, of course, a scarce title, desirable in any condition, and it is offered here at a very low price. This book will be posted by USPS Media Mail.
