Description: Ridgway New York City Hall Blue Transfer Historical Staffordshire Plate 1825 For sale is this fine blue Historical Staffordshire plate in the "New York City Hall" pattern from the "Beauties of America" series by John & William Ridgway (1813 - 1830) of Shelton and Hanley, Staffordshire. The plate measures 9 3/4 inches wide and weighs 1 lb. Date circa 1825. Medium blue tranferware with a printed maker's mark. Condition: Excellent from the front. Glaze cracking on the reverse, as shown. This is original to manufacture. The shipping weight is 2 lbs. Domestic shipping is $5.95. Foreign Shipping as shown in the shipping calculator.
