The capper presses the cap elastically under the bottle-collar-nexk stretching it for a perfect air-tight seal. I used it to put water kefir into beer bottles for the second ferment, and the kefir always was perfectly carbonated. It can also be used for beer or other carbonated beverages as well using a bottle top measuring from 0 mm 26.5 with a 0mm 26.5 cap.
