The river stones are from a moraine in Hønefoss, Norway, shaped by nature during the last ice age under the glaciers. The first picture shows the stones in the quarry in the moraine in Hønefoss, and with a ruler to show the size. The second picture is ment to give a better impression of how the stones appear. The third picture shows the same stones as wet. The parcel weighs as nearly as possible 350 gram or 0.7716 pounds. That means not much more than 0.7 pounds in total weight as a parcel. You will receive only one or two small stones. The shipping cost of $8 is based on exactly what it will cost to send a 350 gram parcel worldwide with the Norwegian Postal Service, that is 54 NOK. Larger bulk quantities may be ordered at a better price, but the shipping cost to your destination may be expensive. It might be possible to send the stones on a pallet (1 ton) or a lot more in a container. Prices on demand according to destination and quantity. Larger stones are available in sizes 60 to 120 millimeter (2.36 to 4.72 inches), 100 to 300 millimeter (3.94 to 11.81 inches) or 200 to 400 millimeter (7.87 to 15.75 inches).
