The idea is to satisfy a travelers curiosity while also giving useful information. Each description provides the information necessary to contact and find the destination, and, where possible, additional description about the place and, in some cases, further information about the history, geology, or background. Because I have attempted to include a broad range of travel spots, I havent visited them all, so detail may be limited in some cases. I have focused on description over evaluation. Where possible, maps are also included. At the end of the book are additional media resources, including books and videos, for those interested in knowing more about the destinations.
