It is pencil signed Tague '77 and " To Emerson" and it is from the estate of Emerson Woelffer, who was considered the grandfather of Los Angeles Modernism. At the New Bauhaus in Chicago, he taught architecture and drafting. Both institutions later became part of the Illinois Instate of Technology. He served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946."
